Al-Ma’rif English School is an Islamic school which provides Education for this world and the Hereafter. Islam has taught its followers to seek all ‘beneficial knowledge.’ Our aim is to provide both Islamic and worldly academic knowledge to our students. The goal for which we strive is to nurture children of upright character and high academic caliber who will be Muslims in the truest sense of the word In-sha-Allah.
Education in the context of Islam is regarded as a process that involves the complete person, including the rational, spiritual, and social dimensions. In the Islamic educational theory knowledge is gained in order to actualize and perfect all dimensions of the human being. From an Islamic perspective the highest and most useful model of perfection is Prophet Muhammad (May Peace be upon him), and the goal of Islamic education is that people be able to live as he lived. While education does prepare humankind for happiness in this life, “its ultimate goal is Jannah and all education points to it”. The Islamic belief of accountability and recompensation in the Life after Death is needed for developing love, kindness, compassion, selflessness and good morals.

Our Curriculum
Academic
- Academic education with English as the medium of instruction
- From Nursery to Std VII CBSC textbooks are used so that the children have a good command over English with high levels of academic excellence.
- From Std I students are taught Karate, Computers in addition to Marathi, English, Arabic, Mathematics, Science and EVS.
- Hindi is introduced from Std III
Islamic
Islamic education is imparted in English in our school
Islamic syllabus includes the following:
- Memorization of Surahs of the 30th Juz and Duas with English translation from Nursery
- Memorization of the complete Qur’an Insha’Allah for selected children
- Arabic vocabulary from Nursery
- Correct pronunciation of Arabic letters from Nursery
- Learning of Allah’s names with their meanings from Nursery
- Learning of Ahadeeth from Sr. K.G.
- Learning of Tajweed rules from Sr. K.G.
- Seerah of the Prophet (SAWS) and Islamic history
- Quranic Arabic from std III from Al-Muminah School
